Blogs are starting to take a very important role in politics. Two important factors are the readers across the variety of blogs, and the interactions between the significant blogs and the media. Blogs can help shape political issues, especially those that originally would not have gotten as much focus. Also they can trigger debates, not only from other blog users and peoples' comments but also politician debates. Blogs also bring attention to political scandals. But there is some doubts, such as how many people truly read the blogs and how informed are the blog writers. Either way blogs are impacting American politics.
